Algae Clear 60

Dazzle Algae Clear 60 is a pool-grade algicide used in the treatment and prevention of bio-film and algae in pools, hot tubs and swim spas. This can be used for spring openings, fall closings weekly as a preventative measure and as needed for treatment for visible biofilm or algae.

Bio-film is an insidious collection of microbes and bacteria that attach to surfaces regularly exposed to water. Protected by a slime-like barrier that resists traditional disinfectants (e.g. chlorine, bromine), bio-film harbors potentially harmful bacteria like Legionella, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa, and E-Coli, favoring dark, warm (>90°F) and water-rich environments.
